So far in PVA we are learning about the kolintang and making music out of it. I really like this instrument because it makes a nice sound. Our teacher is Ibu Megan, she is very kind and when we ask for help she explains it to you in a nice way.

The kolintang creates a beautiful sound when you hit the notes with a mallet. There are three different types of mallets, The dark green one used for the Melody and Alto, The light green one used for the Tenor and the brown ones used for the Bass and Contra. The kolintang is usually compared to a xylophone.
